For over 35 years, EBF has been dedicated to the growth and development of students pursuing careers in media, entertainment, and technology. In that time, nearly 2,000 aspiring media professionals have received support, guidance, and resources from EBF. Most recently, each summer, we host a class of 150 new and returning EBF Fellows who intern at our partners

TIMELINE & LOCATIONS

From September – April, we review the applicant pool based on our partners’ internship requests and hiring timelines. An applicant may hear from us at any point during this timeframe while placements are being reviewed and decided.

On May 15, applicants will be notified if they have not been selected for Summer 2026. Placement selections are determined by May 15.

Throughout the cycle, the EBF staff, via email, will notify applicants about potential opportunities and required steps for further consideration for specific internship roles with EBF partner companies. Only candidates hired by a partner company to be a summer intern through this process are considered EBF Fellows for Summer 2026.

Please keep in mind that the EBF program is highly competitive. Each year, we receive thousands of applications, and we welcome about 150 Fellows to our prestigious EBF Fellowship program. Below you can see the states that the Fellows have interned in most recently.

We look forward to receiving your application!
