This year, conference will be a two-part hybrid event—June 16 (virtual) and June 23-24 (in person in NY). Students are expected to attend both sessions.

Our in-person conference this year is Thursday June, 23rd and Friday June, 24th.

Conference will be held in Tarrytown, New York. You will be housed at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel & Conference Center.

Arrival for Plane and Train Travelers:

If you are flying or taking Amtrak, you should arrive in the New York area by 1 pm ET on June 23rd.

Arrival for Local Travelers:

If you are local to NY/NJ/CT and are driving or taking Metro-North, you should arrive at the hotel by 3 pm ET, on June 23rd.

Shuttle Service:

We will be providing shuttle services to and from NY airports or Penn Station in Manhattan.

For train and plane travelers, the conference will end by noon on Friday, June 24th. To account for shuttle/bus travel and traffic, you should book flights and trains that depart after 3pm ET.

Note on departure: If you choose to remain in the NYC area following the conference on June 24th, just note that EBF will not provide housing or additional shuttle service after the 24th.

If you are local, you should book travel by train (Metro-North or Amtrak) or drive directly to the hotel.

No, you do not have to book your own hotel accommodations. Hotel accommodations are already taken care of and covered by EBF, please contact Claribel Nunez, claribel.nunez@nbcuni.com to coordinate your room or if you have questions.

Yes, you will be reimbursed for your travel to conference within approximately two weeks of submitting your receipts.

Ranges for Reimbursement (based on region):

i. West Coast: $450-$600 max

ii. Southwest: $400-$550 max

iii. Midwest: $350-$500 max

iv. Southeast: $350-$500 max

v. Amtrak: $50-$70 max

These are round trip costs. You will be reimbursed for anything below the maximum. If your ticket is above the maximum, please contact Claribel Nunez, claribel.nunez@nbcuni.com before booking.
